5/22/2018 0 Comments I finally Belong by TTB I was never the type to write down how I felt. I was always the person who would just shut down and isolate myself from the world when I had problems going on. I was this person until I joined a class called Writer’s Workshop. This class has helped me in so many ways. I learned that writing down your feelings helps a lot for me. It showed me that you really aren't alone. There are other people out there who can help you and probably have been through something similar. I even met someone that made an amazing impact on my life. Someone who is always there for me and helps me no matter what the situation is. The main thing I learned in this class is that you can’t just give up when things aren’t right. You just have to stay strong and keep pushing through. You’re not going to get far if you let everything bring you down. By just looking at someone, you will never know what they have been through. It’s incredible what people have gone through and they still manage to smile and stay on their feet.
I finally feel like I belong somewhere. This class is another family to me. I’m always scared to share what I have been through and what I am going through because of how people will react. Ever since I joined this class, I’m not that scared anymore. They never judge you for what your life is like or who you are. They give such caring and amazing feedback. If you’re having a bad day, there’s always someone right there. Another thing I love about this class is the teacher. She’s such a caring person and is always there for you. If I ever need to talk to someone, I know she’ll be right there listening. She is never afraid to be herself. She even encourages others to be themselves. Feelings are an important thing in that class, and she will never make you hide your feelings. She wants you to show them and, if you want to, talk about them with her or in a circle. I’m so happy I joined and learned everything I did. It has made me such a better person inside and out. I have also learned how to cope with some things in my life. I learned so many new strategies of how I can better myself.
